Once you have completed all of the above steps, you can add any additional finishing touches to your costume. ![]() Then, using your white fabric paint, draw a “G” in the center of the circle. Simply cut out a circle from the black felt fabric and attach it to the front center of the jumpsuit. Use your sewing machine or fabric glue to attach the “G” emblem to your denim jumpsuit or overalls. These will complete your Minion outfit, as they are typically black in color. Put on your black gloves and boots or sneakers. If necessary, you can add extra padding or stuffing material to the inside of the goggles to make them more comfortable. This will keep the goggles in place and prevent them from falling down. Fit the goggles over your head and adjust the band so that it fits snugly around your head. Step 4: Making the Minion GogglesĪttach the elastic band to the sides of the larger goggles using your hot glue gun or sewing machine. Bend the pipe cleaners to create a wavy effect, just like the Minions do. Using your hot glue gun, attach these pieces to the top of the beanie hat to create a spiky Minion hairdo. Step 3: Adding the Pipe Cleaner HairĬut a handful of black pipe cleaners into small pieces, around 1-2 inches long. Make sure to leave enough space between the goggles for the bridge of your nose. Glue or sew the two larger circles to the ends of the strip so that they overlap slightly. Using your hot glue gun or sewing machine, attach the strip of felt fabric to the top center of the yellow hoodie. Step 2: Attaching the Goggles to the Hoodie Cut out a thin strip of black felt fabric to connect the two larger circles. These circles will be used to form the goggles that fit over your Minion’s eyes. The larger circles should be around 3 inches in diameter, while the smaller circles should be around 2 inches in diameter. Using your marker pen and scissors, cut out two large circles and two small circles from the black felt fabric.
